Laurie Metcalf has won her second Tony Award! The stage-and-screen star triumphed in the Featured Actress in a Play category for her turn in the Broadway-premiere production of Edward Albee's Three Tall Women. The win was announced at the Tonys ceremony on June 10 at Radio City Music Hall. The other nominees in the category were Susan Brown for Angels in America, Noma Dumezweni for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Deborah Findlay for The Children and Denise Gough for Angels in America.
Three Tall Women marks Metcalf's second Tony Award win. She first won a year ago for her turn as Nora in A Doll's House, Part 2. Metcalf's other Broadway credits include My Thing of Love, November, Brighton Beach Memoirs, The Other Place and Misery. Metcalf is a three-time Emmy winner for Roseanne.
