The Broadway.com staff is crazy for Culturalist, the website that lets you choose and create your own top 10 lists. Every week, we're challenging you with a new Broadway-themed topic to rank.
It's been years since rumors about Pretty Woman becoming a Broadway musical began to circulate, and now it's about to open officially on the Great White Way! Based on the 1990 Garry Marshall film of the same name, Pretty Woman stars Samantha Barks and Andy Karl as the iconic characters that were brought to life by Julia Roberts and Richard Gere on screen. With the new musical opening at the Nederlander Theatre on August 16, we're wondering which other Marshall-led projects should get the Broadway treatment. Happy Days, which also starred Karl, and Beaches have been turned into stage shows but haven't made it to the New York, and now we want to know which other movies and TV shows should be brought to life on stage. Broadway.com staffer Sarah Grace McDuff kicked off this challenge and now it's your turn to rank the top 10 Garry Marshall projects you want to see come to Broadway!
