What a Trip! See the First Photos of Harry Hadden-Paton, Carmen Cusack & Tony Yazbeck in Flying Over Sunset

These must have been taken before the acid trip began. The first cast photos for the new musical Flying Over Sunset have been released. With music by Tom Kitt, lyrics by Michael Korie and a book and direction by James Lapine, Flying Over Sunset imagines a fictional meeting between actor Cary Grant, politician Clare Boothe Luce and philosopher Aldous Huxley. The musical stars Tony Yazbeck, Carmen Cusack and Harry Hadden-Paton as the American legends who gather and share an LSD trip. It's also the first Broadway offering from musical theater legend Lapine since Act One in 2014. The production features choreography from Michelle Dorrance. Flying Over Sunset is scheduled to begin previews at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre on March 12 with opening night on April 16.
