Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale are gearing up for the first preview of their innovative stage adaptation of the Euripidean tragedy Medea. The new production at Brooklyn Academy of Music begins performances on Sunday, and the celebrity couple talked to Stephen Colbert on January 7 about acting and raising kids together. The couple have worked together five times since their seven-year relationship began, and BAM's radically modernized Medea, starring Byrne and Cannavale as the goddess Medea and revenge-stricken Jason, may be their greatest collaboration yet. "In this version, we play a couple, and we're both scientists, and my character has been responsible for all of his success really," Byrne told Colbert. "As in the original, she doesn't get any credit for it."
