Following a sold-out run at London's Old Red Lion Theatre, Stephen Laughton's new play One Jewish Boy will move to Trafalgar Studios this spring. Sarah Meadows will repeat her work as director for the West End staging, set to run from March 10 through April 4 in the Studio 2 space. Asha Reid and Robert Neumark-Jones will reprise their performances.
Written as an urgent response to overt anti-Semitism, One Jewish Boy focuses squarely on the inheritances that haunt us, asking if the fear of hatred could be worse than hate itself. The play explores one young family's struggle against fear, prejudice and identity.
One Jewish Boy is being mounted as a co-production between Greenwich Theatre and Scene Change.
