The company of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Freestyle Love Supreme concluded its run in good spirits. The newly anointed Broadway hit packed the Booth Theatre to 101.60% capacity in its final week, reporting a substantial gross of $1,062,219.00. Among other strong performers this past week was the Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer-winning A Soldier's Play, which grossed $305,205.00 and filled the American Airlines Theatre to a respectable 84.97% capacity, and the new solo drama My Name Is Lucy Barton, which grossed $478,414.40 in seven previews and played to houses at 96.53% capacity. Broadway is just months away from its spring-season boom, so now is a great time to sample the assortment of shows currently playing.
