Between the Lines, a new musical based on Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer's teen novel of the same name, makes its New York premiere off-Broadway at the Tony Kiser Theatre in April. Starring Aladdin's Arielle Jacobs and Jason Gotay, who last appeared on Broadway in Bring It On The Musical and starred as Che in New York City Center's Evita, Between the Lines follows Delilah, a high schooler who escapes a troubled home and school life by choosing to live within her favorite fairy tale. In the musical, featuring a score by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, a book by Timothy Allen McDonald and direction by Jeff Calhoun, Gotay plays Prince Oliver, a fairy-tale bound royal who falls in love with Delilah. Watch Gotay sing the love song "Something to Hold Onto" from the new musical below.
