An emotional Andrew Barth Feldman took his final bow as the titular character in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway on January 26. Feldman made his Broadway debut in the role last year and is leaving it to attend Harvard. During Sunday night's curtain call for the show, Jordan Fisher—who will play Evan starting January 28—took the stage for the show's customary "passing of the polo" ceremony, where the outgoing Evan Hansen actor gives the character's iconic blue-striped shirt to his successor. Feldman put the shirt on Fisher, and posed for photos. In addition, Alex Boniello, who has been with the show since 2018, also took his final bow as Conor Murphy. Dan Macke will play Conor until February 9, after which David Jeffery will take over. See photos of Feldman, Boniello and Fisher below.
