Get ready for a trip! The company of Lincoln Center Theater's new Broadway musical, Flying Over Sunset, held their first day of rehearsals on January 30. Created and directed by James Lapine, with music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Michael Korie, Flying Over Sunset imagines a fictional LSD trip between screen star Cary Grant, politician Clare Boothe Luce and philosopher Aldous Huxley. Tony Yazbeck, Carmen Cusack and Harry Hadden-Paton play the American legends, respectively, and Erika Henningsen, not yet departed from Mean Girls, plays Clare's daughter. Flying Over Sunset begins performances on March 12. See the cast and crew in rehearsals below.
