A trio of Broadway favorites have been selected to inaugurate Feinstein's/54 Below's new Diamond Series, which will feature concert-length performances at the midtown venue. Tony winners Kelli O'Hara and Laura Benanti will kick off the series with springtime engagements, followed by a run this summer from Tony nominee Megan Hilty.
O'Hara, whose concert run will appear from May 12-17, earned a Tony for her turn as Anna Leonowens in the 2015 revival of The King and I. She received additional nominations for The Light in the Piazza, The Pajama Game, South Pacific, Nice Work If You Can Get It, The Bridges of Madison County and Kiss Me, Kate.
Benanti, who will perform in the series from June 23-28, won a Tony for her performance as Louise in the 2008 Broadway staging of Gypsy. Her extensive stage résumé also includes Tony-nominated turns in Swing!, Into the Woods, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and She Loves Me.
Hilty, whose performances will run from July 28-August 2, is a Tony nominee for her turn as Brooke Ashton in the 2016 revival of Noises Off. Her credits also include Broadway performances in Wicked and 9 to 5 and screen turns in Smash and Patsy & Loretta.
