American Utopia is filling houses and breaking records at Broadway's Hudson Theatre. The new theatrical experience from mastermind David Byrne reached a new peak over the past week's slate of performances. The show brought in a gross of $1,416,343.50, surpassing the Hudson's box office record for a seven-show week. Recently announced to be adapted into a film by Oscar winner Spike Lee, American Utopia has received numerous accolades since kicking off performances in October. The show is slated to conclude its limited engagement on February 16, so make plans now to experience American Utopia live in-person.
