Who says death has to be depressing? We're Gonna Die by Young Jean Lee is currently running at Second Stage Theater. First written and performed in 2011 by Lee herself, this new version of the play-with-music is performed by Janelle McDermoth and a live band, and directed by Raja Feather Kelly. In it, McDermoth tells a series of stories about painful experiences and talks about how to find comfort in dark times. The show runs until March 22.
