American Buffalo, David Mamet's foul-mouthed 1977 Broadway play about three hustlers conspiring in a Chicago junk shop to steal a man’s rare coin collection, will be revived on Broadway this season. The first photo of its cast—starring Laurence Fishburne, Sam Rockwell and Darren Criss—was just released. With direction from two-time Tony winner Neil Pepe, the revival will star Tony winner Fishburne as Donny, the junk shop owner who's taken Bobby (Criss), a young neighborhood kid, under his wing. Rockwell will appear as the group's third member, Teach—a role played in previous productions by Robert Duvall and Al Pacino. Set to begin previews on March 24, American Buffalo will open at Circle In The Square Theatre on April. 14. See the cast in character above.
