Gideon Glick is headed to the small screen. The Tony-nominated star, currently delighting audiences as Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors, has been cast in a recurring role on the Comedy Central series The Other Two.
Glick will play Jess, the new boyfriend of Cary (played by Drew Tarver); he is a laid-back guy who appears to be very into Cary and seamlessly able to roll with the punches.
Glick, who will continue as Seymour in off-Broadway's Little Shop through March 15, earned a 2019 Tony nom for his turn as Dill in To Kill a Mockingbird. His résumé also includes Broadway turns in Spring Awakening, Significant Other and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. His off-Broadway credits include Speech & Debate, Wild Animals You Should Know, Into the Woods and The Harvest.
Glick will appear in The Other Two alongside fellow stage standout Heléne Yorke (Bullets Over Broadway), who plays Brooke Dubek, sister of struggling actor Drew, whose lives are upended when their teenage brother (Case Walker) becomes famous overnight.
Filming of the series' second season is currently underway.
