When the Broadway shutdown began in March 2020, author Andrew Norlen went on a quest to immortalize the moment by reaching out to those who work in the theater industry. When the Lights Are Bright Again is a book that features over 200 letters from Broadway actors, theatergoers, ushers, designers, creatives and many other arts workers reflecting on the Broadway shutdown. With the help of noted Broadway photographer and frequent Broadway.com contributor Matthew Murphy, Norlen puts a spotlight on the heart of the theater community. The book, which is now available, gives a portion of the profits to The Actors Fund. Go inside the celebration by checking out photos of the starry launch party below!
