An intimate chat with the witches of Wicked--stars Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel--is one of the highlights of the first-ever Broadway Winterfest, presented by Broadway.com and Theatre Direct International. The live interview will be conducted by New York Times theater writer Jesse McKinley at Planet Hollywood in Times Square on Thursday, February 5 at 6pm.
Broadway Winterfest is a two-week festival January 27-February 5 of free events for ticketbuyers who purchase their seats through Broadway.com for the following shows: 42nd Street, Aida, Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, Fame on 42nd Street, Gypsy, Mamma Mia!, Movin' Out, Rent, The Boy from Oz, The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Wicked. Other Winterfest events include a seminar on producing with Avenue Q/Rent producer Jeffrey Seller, an audition workshop with a top Broadway casting director, a seminar with child actors and their parents, a historic walking tour of the theater district, intimate performance events with the leading ladies and men of the Great White Way and talkbacks with cast members following performances of 42nd Street, Fame on 42nd Street, Mamma Mia!, Movin' Out, Rent and Wicked.
