Eight new stars have been added to the roster of 2004 Tony Award presenters. Carol Channing, Edie Falco, Harvey Fierstein, Victor Garber, Swoosie Kurtz, Rob Marshall, John Rubenstein and Renee Zellweger will join host Hugh Jackman at the ceremony on June 6 at Radio City Music Hall.
As previously reported, the following celebs will also appear at the Tony Awards: Sean Combs, Taye Diggs, Jimmy Fallon, Joel Grey, Ethan Hawke, Anne Heche, LL Cool J, Billy Joel, Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman, Jane Krakowski, Peter Krause, Nathan Lane, Laura Linney, John Lithgow, Helen Mirren, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Anna Paquin, Sarah Jessica Parker, Bernadette Peters, Phylicia Rashad, Chita Rivera, Carole Bayer Sager, Martin Short, Patrick Stewart, Sigourney Weaver and Marissa Jaret Winokur, who will present six Tonys Best Scenic Design, Best Costume Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Orchestrations, the Regional Theatre Tony Award to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre to James M. Nederlander prior to the telecast..
The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS from 8pm through 11pm. The Tony Awards are presented by the League of American Theatres and Producers and the American Theatre Wing.
