Glengarry Glen Ross centers on a competitive group of real estate salesmen who've gotten more than a little desperate during the reign of Reaganomics. The play won the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, had a successful run at Broadway's Golden Theatre from March 16, 1984 through February 17, 1985, and was made into an acclaimed 1992 film.
