Erin Hill Joins People Are Wrong! at the Vineyard

Broadway.com has learned that Erin Hill will join previously attached stars David Driver, The Might Be Giants' John Flansburgh, Maggie Moore and Chris Anderson members of The Loser's Lounge, who all appeared in previous mountings of the show in the upcoming Vineyard Theatre production of People Are Wrong!.

Hill appeared on Broadway in Titanic, Cabaret and Urinetown. Her off-Broadway credits include The Fantasticks and Return to the Forbidden Planet. She can be seen singing in the movie Cradle Will Rock. Hill also has a solo album, Frost as Desired, which was put out by her own record label, Gridley Records.

People Are Wrong! was previously seen in New York in concert form at Joe's Pub and P.S. 122. The musical follows the adventures of a young New York City couple in the country. When they hire an off-kilter but charismatic landscape artist, who is in reality a cult leader, they end up on a wild ride that encompasses wedding planning, alien visitation, flashbacks to rock festivals and journeys to the sixth dimension. The show, which will begin performances in late October, was written by Julia Greenberg and Robin Goldwasser and will feature the musicians of The Loser's Lounge. David Herskovits serves as the director.

A production spokesperson could not confirm any casting for the musical.
