Seth Rudetsky will host a benefit concert for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center on October 4. Titled Queer Songbook: A New Generation of Broadway Composers, the evening will feature performances by theater stars including Michael Arden, Shoshana Bean Wicked, Lisa Brescia, Adam Fleming, Barrett Foa Avenue Q, Eric Michael Gillett The Frogs, John Hill, Cheyenne Jackson, Alix Korey, Melba Moore, Paige Price, Billy Porter, Robb Sapp, KT Sullivan, John Tartaglia Avenue Q, Max von Essen and Rachel York.
The event will feature performances from Avenue Q, Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party and other recent Broadway and off-Broadway shows. In addition, songs from upcoming musicals like The Opposite of Sex, A Little Princess, Was, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Julie Andrew's revival of The Boyfriend are on the bill.
