Jenn Harris will star alongside Craig Bierko, Jason Biggs and Molly Ringwald in the upcoming off-Broadway production of Daniel Goldfarb's Modern Orthodox. As we previously reported, a representative for Shiri Appleby confirmed to Broadway.com that she was in talks for the role, however, a scheduling conflict forced negotiations to end at the last minute.
Harris is currently appearing in Sex*But at Fez. She has also appeared on the New York stage in The Plank Project, The Dilemma of Drugs and a reading of John Epperson's My Deah which relocates the Medea legend to the South.
In Modern Orthodox, a New York couple Bierko and Ringwald is in search of wedded bliss and a way to get rid of the diamond dealer Biggs that has taken over their lives. Modern Orthodox, directed by James Lapine, is scheduled to begin performances at Dodger Stages on November 11 in preparation for a December 6 opening.
