The planned Dodger Stages run of The Umbilical Brothers' Speedmouse has been canceled.
"It is a shame," a representative for the show told Broadway.com. "The show ended up not being able to proceed there. We're looking for another space."
The Umbilical Brothers, composed of Australian creators/performers David Collins and Shane Dundas, use tightly choreographed hi-jinx and live-audio acrobatics to create a surreal world in their shows. Speedmouse combines two devious imaginations and one errant remote control into an evening of lunacy.
Speedmouse was announced with the rest of the Dodger Stages lineup when the venue opened in September. Umbilical Brothers posters even hang inside the theater. However, no formal opening date for the show was ever confirmed.
