Billy Crystal's 700 Sundays has been hyped for a months as a sure-fire hit and, living up to that potential, the show had a big Broadway debut last week. In just four previews at the 1186-seat Broadhurst Theatre, the autobiographical piece took in $492,475--that is more than three different musicals Brooklyn, Dracula and Rent made during eight regular performances. It also had a high capacity figure of 98.69% on average.
