The Pillowman centers on a writer Crudup living in a totalitarian state who is interrogated by Goldblum and Ivanek about the gruesome content of his short stories and their similarities to a number of child-murders that are happening in his town.
Directed by John Crowley, The Pillowman played earlier this year at London's National Theatre and won the 2004 Olivier Award for Best New Play. It was also recently nominated for the Evening Standard Award for Best Play. The recipient of the award will be announced on December 13.
The Booth Theatre is currently home to The Good Body, which was written and is performed by Eve Ensler. The solo show is scheduled to end its limited run on January 16.
