When Frank Kilmer drifts into their roadside café in The Postman Always Rings Twice, Greek immigrant Nick and his American wife Cora to be played by Charlotte Emmerson have no idea of the devastating effect he'll have on their lives. Frank and Cora begin a passionate affair that leads to murder, double-crossing and dubious courtroom deals.
Kilmer appeared onstage last year in Los Angeles in the musical version of The Ten Commandments. He is best known for his work in Hollywood. His film credits include Top Secret, Real Genius, Top Gun, Thunderheart, True Romance, Tombstone, The Doors, Batman Forever, Heat, The Saint, At First Sight, Pollock, The Salton Sea, Wonderland, The Missing and Spartan. A graduate of Julliard's drama department, Kilmer appeared on Broadway in 1983 in Slab Boys. His off-Broadway credits include Public Theater productions of How It All Began which he helped adapt for the stage, Henry IV Part I and Tis Pity She's a Whore.
