Kalember has appeared on Broadway in The Nerd and off-Broadway in The Butler Did It, The Foreigner, Loose Knit, From Above, The Vagina Monologues, Y2K and Sea of Tranquility. She is best known for her small screen supporting work on thirtysomething and her starring role in the long-running dramatic series Sisters. Her film credits include Fletch Lives, Jacob's Ladder, Labor Pains and Signs.
Dedication, or the Stuff of Dreams centers on Lou Nuncle Frechette and Jessie Nuncle Kalember, who run a children's theater in a mall in upstate New York. When the possibility of taking over an abandoned vaudeville palace arises, the Nuncles are forced to examine how far their love of theater will take them.
