Richard Greenberg's The House in Town will join Wendy Wasserstein's Third and the musical version of The House of Bernarda Alba as part of Lincoln Center Theater's 2005-2006 season at the Mitzi E. Newhouse space.
The House in Town is set in 1929 just before the stock market crash. The LCT production, which is scheduled to begin performances on May 11, will be directed by Doug Hughes. Hughes is directing a different Greenberg play, A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, this fall at the American Airlines Theatre.
Third will open LCT's season at the Newhouse, where it will begin performances on September 29. The House of Bernarda Alba is next up, beginning on January 26. The House in Town, the last entry of the season, is set to officially open on June 8.
