David Hess & Jenelle Lynn Randall Join Cast of The Ark Off-B'way

David Hess and Jenelle Lynn Randall have joined the cast of the upcoming off-Broadway musical The Ark. They are replacing previously announced stars Paul Harmon and Carla Hargrove, who both left the production because of scheduling conflicts, according to a spokesperson.

Hess will play the central role of Noah in the tuner. He has appeared on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun. His off-Broadway credits include The Elephant Man, Love In A Thirsty Land, Prodigal and Dessa Rose.

Randall will portray Egyptus, the wife of Noah's prodigal son, Ham. Randall's credits include All Shook Up on Broadway and The Wrote That? and The Joys of Sex off-Broadway.

The cast of The Ark also includes Annie Golden, Marie-France Arcilla, D.B Bonds, Justin Brill, Julie Foldesi, Jacquelyn Piro, Chuck Ragsdale and Rob Sutton.

Directed and choreographed by Ray Roderick, the tuner is scheduled to begin performances at 37 Arts on October 14 in preparation for an official opening on November 14.
