Satellites centers on Nina Oh and Miles, an interracial couple, who move into the transforming neighborhood of Clinton Hill with their new baby. They are welcomed by a rock thrown through the window.
Oh won a Theatre World Award for another Son play at the Public--1998's Stop Kiss. Her other theatrical credits include Dogeaters at the La Jolla Playhouse and The Vagina Monologues off-Broadway. Oh is currently one of the stars of the hit ABC series Grey's Anatomy. She received an Emmy nomination for her performance in the show. The winners of the Emmy Awards will be announced on Sunday, September 18. Her numerous films include Sideways, Under the Tuscan Sun, Rick, Bean, Guinevere, The Red Violin, Waking the Dead, The Princess Diaries, Pay or Play and Dancing at the Blue Iguana.
