Tyne Daly and John Slattery will join previously announced star Cynthia Nixon in the Manhattan Theatre Club world premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's Rabbit Hole. The production, directed by Daniel Sullivan, is scheduled to begin previews at the Biltmore Theatre on January 12.
Daly won a 1990 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for Gypsy. Rabbit Hole will be her first Broadway appearance since The Seagull in 1992. She is the winner of six Emmy Awards four for her work on TV's Cagney & Lacey, one for Christy and one for Judging Amy.
Slattery's Broadway credits include Betrayal and Laughter on the 23rd Floor. He has appeared in five other MTC productions. His film credits include City Hall, Eraser, Where's Marlow?, Traffic, Bad Company and Mona Lisa Smile. His television credits include Jack and Bobby, A Woman of Independent Means, Ed, Will & Grace and Sex and the City.
Rabbit Hole is scheduled to officially open on February 2.
