Eddie Kaye Thomas to Headline Off-Broadway's Dog Sees God

Eddie Kaye Thomas, Eliza Dushku, America Ferrara, Ari Graynor, Logan Marshall-Green, Keith Nobbs and Michael Rady will star in the off-Broadway production of Bert V. Royal's Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead. The play, directed by Trip Cullman, is scheduled to begin performances at Century Center on November 30 a change from the originally scheduled star date of November 28, according to a production spokesperson.

Thomas is known for playing Paul Finch in the American Pie films. Dushku is best known for her starring role in Bring it On, her recurring role as Faith in the cult hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer and her portrayal of the title character in the TV series Tru Calling. Ferrara's notable film credits include Real Women Have Curves, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Lords of Dogtown. Graynor received positive reviews for her supporting work in last season's Broadway play Brooklyn Boy and had a featured role on this week's episode of Veronica Mars. Marshall-Green, who appeared on the New York stage this summer in Swimming in the Shallows, is best known for playing Ryan's troubled older brother Trey Atwood in the Fox series The O.C.. Nobbs is a stage regular, most recently appearing off-Broadway in David Mamet's Romance. Rady appeared with Ferrara in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead is an unauthorized parody of the Charlie Brown comic characters. Set approximately 10 years after the events in the 50-year-running comic strip, Dog Sees God begins with Snoopy's death, after which things for the introspective "CB" go downhill. Still trying to understand life's darker meanings, still plagued with his endless identity crisis, CB talks to his gang of friends to find answers to his many questions.

Dog Sees God is scheduled to officially open off-Broadway on December 15.
