Michael McKean, Peter Benson, Joyce Chittick, Megan Lawrence, Michael McCormick, Richard Poe and Roz Ryan will join Harry Connick Jr. and Kelli O'Hara in the upcoming Roundabout Theatre Company revival of The Pajama Game. The production, directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, is scheduled to begin performances at the American Airlines Theatre on January 19.
In recent years, McKean, best known for his film and television work, has appeared on the New York stage in Hairspray on Broadway and Woody Allen's A Second Hand Memory off-Broadway. Benson last appeared on Broadway in another show Marshall directed and choreographed, Wonderful Town. Chittick is currently appearing on the Great White Way in Sweet Charity. Lawrence was featured this summer in the musical version of Two Gentleman of Verona in Central Park. McCormick's Broadway credits include Gypsy, Marie Christine, Kiss Me, Kate, 1776, Kiss of the Spider Woman, La Bete and Oliver!. Poe has appeared on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, 1776, Moon Over Buffalo, Our Country's Good, M. Butterfly, Broadway and Execution of Justice. Ryan's Broadway credits include One Mo' Time, Chicago, Dreamgirls and Ain't Misbehavin'.
In addition to the stars mentioned above, the cast of The Pajama Game will include Bridget Berger, Stephen Berger, Kate Chapman, Paula Leggett Chase, Jennifer Cody, David Eggers, Michael O'Donnell, Vince Pesce, Devin Richards, Jeffrey Schecter, Amber Stone and Debra Walton.
The Pajama Game is set to officially open on February 23 and end its limited engagement on June 11.
