Five Course Love to Close December 31 at Minetta Lane

The off-Broadway musical Five Course Love will end its run on December 31. At the time it closes it will have played 16 previews and 70 regular performances at the Minetta Lane Theatre.

In Five Course Love, Heather Ayers, John Bolton and Jeff Gurner play 15 roles, depicting five dates in five different style restaurants. The show features book, music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin.

The mounting, directed by Emma Griffin who also directed the tuner's premiere at the Geva Theatre Center in Rochester, New York, opened on October 16 to mixed reviews. In his Broadway.com Review of the tuner, William Stevenson wrote: "It's a cute, diverting, fast-paced little show, though the actors sometimes press too hard for laughs and high notes."
