Everyone has something they want to do in the future. Broadway professionals are not immune to such desires—they make New Year's resolutions just like the rest of us. With that in mind, Broadway.com asked some of our favorite industry people to tell us what they are pledging to do in 2006. Some came back with serious responses, some opted for levity. See for yourself!
Will Chase

Leah Hocking
In 2005: Played the sassy museum curator Miss Sandra in All Shook Up and began performances in the Broadway company of Hairspray as the evil Velma Von Tussle.

I feel I've spent too much time acquiescing to the opinions of others recently and it's been unsatisfying to say the least. Now it's time to go back to being the ballbuster I was in the music biz. Being nice has gotten me straight to the middle!"

In 2005: Appeared in The Flight of the Lawnchair at Goodspeed Musicals and took on the role of Pirelli in Sweeney Todd.
Resolution: "The resolution I'm making this year is a really difficult one and i'm afraid that if I share it, my fear of failing at it publically will make it all the harder to achieve. So I'll just ask for loving psychic support from those who have it to spare and send mine in return to those in the same position as myself this year. And no, I'm not addicted to crack unless you count singing showtunes as 'crack' and then clearly, I am a lost cause."

Hunter Foster
In 2005: Appeared in Mister Roberts at the Kennedy Center, stepped into Modern Orthodox off-Broadway and returned to The Producers in NYC.
Resolution: "I want to travel as much as I can, if the business will allow me. I think as actors we get so caught up in NY/Broadway/America and it makes us have tunnel vision about who we are and the world around us. I want to take a month off and go to Europe and experience new cultures, peoples and ways of life, etc. so I can be more educated about the world. My wife and I keep talking about it and I think we're gonna do it. It's time to quit talking about all the things you want to do and actually go and do them. It's either that or start a retro 80's funk band."
Stephen DeRosa
In 2005: Started performances as Hairspray's Wilbur Turnblad on Broadway after appearing in the tour of the hit tuner.
Resolution: "I just had an emergency appendectomy and was reminded of how fragile we are and all we take for granted. Andy Karl
In 2005: Starred off-Broadway in both Altar Boyz and Slut.
Resolution: "Well, I don't have stage fright, I don't have fear of standing nude in front of people, I've jumped out of airplanes, no fear of commitment because I've been married for 5 years... Hmm.. .what's next? I want to be the best at what I do and I want to make wads of cash and then spend it on my wife and animal charities. Word."

I still love ya though, Broadway, with or without your naughty little schedule."
Dan Fogler
In 2005: Won a 2005 Best Featured Actor in a Musical Tony Award for his work as magic foot operator William Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a show he continues to star in.
