James Fox to Star as Movin' Out's Piano Man in the West End

James Fox, star of the 2004 installment of BBC TV's Fame Academy, will provide lead vocals and play the piano for the West End mounting of Movin' Out.

Fox appeared on Broadway and in the North American tour of Movin' Out. He is most famous for his time on Fame Academy and later represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest, in which he performed "Hold On To Our Love." He starred as Judas in a U.K. tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Movin' Out was conceived, directed and choreographed by Twyla Tharp and is based on and features the Billy Joel songbook. Through song and dance, the show tells the story of two turbulent American decades for a group of lifelong friends.

The show is scheduled to run at the West End's Apollo Victoria Theatre from March 28 through July 17 before embarking on a European tour.
