The solo play Family Secrets, written and performed by Sherry Glaser, is coming back to New York. The show will begin an eight-week engagement at 37 Arts on February 22.
Family Secrets is an intimate theatrical portrait of five members of a Jewish family, transplanted from the Bronx to Southern California. The show previously ran off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre Downstairs, where it opened on September 28, 1993 and closed on January 1, 1995. Glaser has also toured with the piece.
Family Secrets, which will be the third theatrical tenant to be housed in the 37 Arts complex following Hurlyburly and The Ark, is set to officially open on March 8. Bob Balaban directs.
