Innvar, who will play Tiger Brown in Threepenny, has appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables and Victor/Victoria. His off-Broadway credits include Time and Again, Floyd Collins, Gun-Shy, A New Brain and The Chemistry of Change.
Leon's theatrical credits include Aunt Dan and Lemon, A Streetcar Named Desire, Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie? and Writing on the Wall. His film credits include She Hate Me, The Woodsman, Empire, The Pack and Shoe Store Romeo. In addition to his professional credits, he is known for being the father of Lourdes, whose mother is pop star Madonna. He will play Filtch in this production.
Rooney's New York theatrical credits include With Glee, The Taxi Cabaret, John Walker, The Musical at the Fringe and the New York Musical Theater Festival mounting of The Ballad of Bonnie & Clyde. He has also appeared in tours of West Side Story and The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. In Threepenny, he will be Lucy.
The Threepenny Opera, directed by Scott Elliott, is scheduled to begin performances at Studio 54 on March 24 in preparation for an April 20 opening.
