Menopause The Musical celebrates women and what is commonly known as "the change." The show, written by Jeanie Linders, chronicles the meeting of four women at a lingerie sale at Bloomingdale's with nothing in common but a black lace bra...and memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, hormones, etc. Songs in the show include "Stayin' Awake," "Puff, My God I'm Draggin'" and "I Heard It through the Grapevine You'll No Longer See 39."
Menopause The Musical, directed by Kathleen Lindsay, opened at Theatre Four on April 4, 2002. It moved to Playhouse 91 on September 26, 2002 and has been there ever since.
