The Broadway revival of the 1954 musical The Pajama Game opened at the American Airlines Theatre last week with a bang. Possibly owing to the amount of complimentary tickets given to press and other industry folk around and on opening night, the show was down from its gross the previous week by $91,642 to come in at $301,859. However, the revival, blessed with recording star Harry Connick, Jr. and Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara as its leading pair, received mostly positive reviews and should certainly be on the upswing this week.
