The upcoming Broadway revival of A Chorus Line has named its Broadway home. The show will open at the Schoenfeld Theatre, most recently home to Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life, on October 5 a change from the previously announced September 21 opening date.
A Chorus Line, the legendary musical about a line-up of Broadway gypsies baring their souls for a grueling audition, was conceived and originally choreographed and directed by Michael Bennett. It features a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch who will orchestrate the revival and lyrics by Edward Kleban. This production, directed by Bob Avian, is set to star Tony-nominated actors Charlotte d'Amboise and Michael Berresse as Cassie and Zach, respectively.
