Emmy winner Eric McCormack will headline the MCC Theater production of Neil LaBute's Some Girls. He joins previously announced cast member Maura Tierney in the production, which is set to begin performances at the Lucille Lortel Theater on May 17.
McCormack is best known for his Emmy-winning portrayal of Will Truman in the hit NBC series Will & Grace. After eight seasons, the show's series finale will air on May 18, 2006. McCormack began his career acting at the Shakespeare Theatre Festival in Ontario. He was with the festival for five seasons, appearing in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Three Sisters among other classic works. In 2001, he appeared as Harold Hill in the Broadway revival of The Music Man. The following year he made a few cameo appearances in the British comedy The Play What I Wrote on the Great White Way.
Some Girls, directed by Jo Bonney, is scheduled to officially open on June 8 and run through June 24.
