Jefferson Mays, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Lewis J. Stadlen, Jonathan Freeman, Erick Devine, Michael Mulheren, David Pittu, Wayne Duvall and Jeffry Denman will join Victor Garber in the Encores! mounting of Of Thee I Sing. The show, directed by John Rando, is scheduled to run at City Center from May 11 through May 15.
Mays is best known for his Tony Award-winning portrayal of Charlotta von Mahlsdorf in I Am My Own Wife. Thomson received a Tony nomination for her work in Urinetown. Stadlen received Tony nominations for his performances in the musicals A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum and Candide. Freeman's Broadway credits include 42nd Street, On the Town, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, She Loves Me for which he received a Tony nomination and Sherlock Holmes. Devine has appeared on the Great White Way in Seussical, Ragtime and Cats. Mulheren received a Tony nomination for her work in Kiss Me, Kate. Pittu is currently appearing in Stuff Happens off-Broadway. Duvall's many movie credits include Apollo 13, The Deep End of the Ocean and The Hard Rain. Denman has been seen on Broadway in The Producers and in the national tour of White Christmas.
