Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is a caustic look at marriage and dysfunctional relationships. This staging, directed by Anthony Page, had acclaimed runs on Broadway and in the West End. It is scheduled to run in California from February 6, 2007 through March 18, 2007.
A love story, Ain't No Mountain High Enough focuses on the search for self-identity and independence, the urge to rebel and the need to be accepted. The score will feature hits from the Motown catalog, which boasts songs from hundreds of artists, including Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops and The Temptations. The show is scheduled to run at the Los Angeles venue from June 25, 2007 through August 12, 2007.
The 2006-2007 Ahmanson season will also feature Doubt with Cherry Jones, The Light in the Piazza, Edward Scissorhands and Twelve Angry Men.
