John Ellison Conlee Joins Cast of Roundabout's Pig Farm

Tony nominated actor John Ellison Conlee will join Katie Finneran, Logan Marshall-Green and Denis O'Hare in the Roundabout Theatre Company production of Greg Kotis' Pig Farm. The mounting, helmed by John Rando, is scheduled to begin performances at the Laura Pels Theatre on June 9.

Conlee received Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations for his performance as Dave Bukatinsky in The Full Monty. He has also appeared on the Great White Way in 1776 and The Constant Wife. His off-Broadway credits include The Bald Soprano, The Butter and Egg Man, Once in a Lifetime, The Green Heart, Hundreds of Hats, Measure for Measure, Merry Wives of Windsor, Two Gentlemen from Verona and Henry VIII.

Set on a struggling pig farm somewhere in America, Pig Farm centers on Tom Conlee, Tina Finneran and their hired hand Tim Logan Marshall-Green, who fight to hold onto everything they have—namely, a herd of fifteen thousand restless pigs. Dumping sludge into the river has driven Tom to drink, and Tim seems to have caught Tina's eye, but when Teddy O'Hare, an officer of the Environmental Protection Agency arrives to inspect the operation, life on the farm explodes, implodes, then explodes again.

Pig Farm is set to officially open off-Broadway on June 27.
