Julia Roberts, Eric McCormack, Ralph Fiennes, Cynthia Nixon, Martin Short, Alfre Woodard and Anna Paquin will be among the presenters at the 2006 Tony Awards. The ceremony will take place at Radio City Music Hall on June 11.
Academy Award winner Roberts, currently starring on Broadway in Three Days of Rain, did not receive a Tony nomination for her work in the play. McCormack, best known for his work on Will & Grace, is currently appearing off-Broadway in Some Girls. Fiennes, a previous Tony winner, is a 2006 Best Actor in a Play nominee for his performance in Faith Healer, which is running at the Booth Theatre. Nixon is a 2006 Best Actress in a Play nominee for her work in the now-shuttered Rabbit Hole. Short, a 1999 Tony winner, will soon return to Broadway in Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me. Woodard, an Oscar nominee and multiple Emmy winner, appeared in Desperate Housewives all season. Paquin, an Oscar winner with four off-Broadway credits, will soon be seen on the big screen in X-Men: The Last Stand.
