Euan Morton, Jessica Hecht, Elizabeth Franz and Alvin Epstein are among the cast members who will join the previously announced Alfred Molina in the Roundabout Theatre Company's forthcoming American premiere of Patrick Marber's Howard Katz. The play, to be directed by Doug Hughes Doubt, A Touch of the Poet, The Paris Letter will begin previews at the Laura Pels Theatre on February 2, 2007, and open officially on March 8, running through May 6.
Once a powerful, hard-hearted showbiz agent, the title character in Howard Katz Molina has lost everything he ever valued: his career, his family and his faith. In a series of haunting flashbacks, the play traces the story of the mighty Katz, capturing a man free-falling yet determinedly clinging to life.

Franz won a Tony Award for the 1999 revival of Death of a Salesman and was nominated for Tonys for Morning's At Seven and Brighton Beach Memoirs. Epstein played the title role in King Lear off-Broadway last summer.
