Lincoln Center Theater will extend the run of Tom Stoppard's trilogy The Coast of Utopia through May 13, 2007, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. The production, directed by Jack O'Brien, was originally scheduled to run through March 10. The extension will offer audiences an additional 21 opportunities to see the three parts of the trilogy, including all three parts in one day on six Saturdays: March 24, March 31, April 7, April 21, April 28 and May 5.
Part One of The Coast of Utopia, "Voyage," opened on November 27 and is currently being presented in rotation with Part Two, "Shipwreck," which opens on December 21. They will be joined early next year by the third part of the trilogy, "Salvage," which begins performances on January 30 and opens February 15.
The Coast of Utopia has sets by Bob Crowley and Scott Pask, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Brian MacDevitt "Voyage", Kenneth Posner "Shipwreck" and Natasha Katz "Salvage" and original music and sound design by Mark Bennett. The cast also features Tolan Aman, Bianca Amato, Mia Barron, Larry Bull, Denis Butkus, Michael Carlsen, Amanda Leigh Cobb, Anthony Cochrane, Patricia Conolly, David Cromwell, Michael D'Addario, Adam Dannheiser, Matt Dickson, August Gladstone, Aaron Krohn, Felicity LaFortune, Jennifer Lyon, David Manis, Andrew McGinn, Beckett Melville, Kellie Overbey, Scott Parkinson, David Pittu, Annie Purcell, Erika Rolfsrud, Brian Sgambati, Robert Stanton, Eric Sheffer Stevens, Baylen Thomas and David Christopher Wells.
