Just like the rest of us, Broadway pros make New Year's resolutions—both serious and silly. With that in mind, Broadway.com asked some of our favorite folks in the industry to tell us what they are pledging to do in 2007. Read their answers, and get inspired!
Julie White

Resolution: "My New Year's resolution in 2003 was to take up yoga. My New Year's resolution in 2004 was to take one month of yoga classes. My New Year's resolution in 2005 was to buy a yoga DVD and try it at home. My New Year's resolution in 2006 was to go to a single yoga class. My New Year's resolution in 2007 is to give up yoga."
Josh Tower
In 2006: Transported his den from the New Amsterdam Theatre to the Minskoff Theatre to continue his long run as Simba in The Lion King.

Resolution: "With eight shows a week and limited time to prepare meals, we have a tendency to order takeout and go out to eat more than I would like. I'd like to try to make dinner at home for my family more often this year and expand my children's vegetable options to something more elaborate than a can of corn."
Jayne Houdyshell
In 2006: Made her Broadway debut to critical acclaim as Lisa Kron's mother in Well, got her first Tony nomination for the role, played a leading part in the talked-about new play The Pain and the Itch, then landed her first musical role: Madame Morrible in Wicked.
Resolution: "The New Year's resolution I am making this year is to be mindful on a daily basis of how very much I have to be thankful for. To be grateful for the fact that I have a vocation that I love and derive so much satisfaction from. To be grateful for the many opportunities I have to work with colleagues who are deeply talented, dedicated artists. To just remember to say thank you everyday. I think remembering to be grateful for the abundant blessings in my life is a way to live positively, and from a more present, right-minded place."

In 2007, I resolve to keep working on that, which shouldn't be too hard, as Legally Blonde has been a happy marriage of work and fun from the first day—fantastic material, a great company and I get to 'play' with my husband every day!"
