Rudnick's Regrets Only Extends to 1/28 at Manhattan Theatre Club

Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Regrets Only, the new comedy by Paul Rudnick, has been extended through January 28, 2007, at New York City Center Stage I. MTC's Web site indicates that the show had originally been scheduled to run through January 7.

Directed by Christopher Ashley, the cast currently features Christine Baranski Tibby McCullough, Diane Davis Spencer McCullough, George Grizzard Hank Hadley, Siân Phillips Marietta Claypoole, David Rasche Jack McCullough, and Mary Testa Myra Kesselman. As previously announced, original cast member Jackie Hoffman returns to the production on January 9 in the role of Myra.

Regrets Only is a comedy of Manhattan manners, exploring the very latest topics in marriage and friendship. The setting: a Park Avenue penthouse. The players: a powerhouse attorney Rasche, his deliriously social wife Baranski, and their closest friend, Hank Hadley Grizzard, one of the world's most successful fashion designers. Add a daughter's Davis engagement, some major gowns, the President of the United States, and stir. Testa and Hoffman play the McCulloughs' long-term maid; Phillips plays Tibby's mother.
