Mayumana's Be, the multi-discipline theatrical performance piece, will play the final performance at off-Broadway's Union Square Theatre July 1. At the end of its U.S. premiere engagement, Mayumana's Be will have played 16 previews and 124 regular performances. The show began its run on February 23 and officially opened on March 13. conceived and directed by company founders Eylon Nuphar and Boaz Berman.
Mayumana from the Hebrew meaning skill is a described as a theatrical event that combines music, movement, acting, dance and rhythm. Be will resume its international tour on August 6 with stops in Spain, Germany, France and Holland. The company has performed more than 5,000 shows in more than 30 countries across the globe.
